Centennial Playground Update
Posted on Jun 11th, 2020
Governor Holcomb announced that the State of Indiana will be moving into phase 4 of Indiana Back on Track at 12:01am Friday June 12th. This phase will allow playgrounds to open, therefore the Centennial Playground will be open to all residents beginning 12:01am Friday.
Per Health Commissioner Dr. Kristina Box on playgrounds:
"Take that hand sanitizer along with you and encourage your children to wear masks if they can, especially if they're on the Merry-Go-Round with another five or six kids," said Dr. Box. Dr. Box also recommended against bringing snacks to playgrounds. "Avoid feeding them when they're on the playground. Make sure that if you do that you alcohol their hands and when they do get home make sure you wash their hands really, really thoroughly. Maybe even change their clothes." Dr. Box emphasized that although things are opening up, coronavirus is still present, and encouraged families to be careful and stay safe."
We encourage all Centennial Residents to practice social distancing when using the playground. We will continue to follow all state guidelines when opening or closing Centennial Amenities.
Thanks and stay safe.
